Shannon Totaro - Realtor/Salesperson

Shannon R. Totaro is highly experienced and knowledgeable about our shoretown. A “local”
byway of San Diego, California, she landed on the island in 1985. Since then she has lived,
worked, played, and raised her children in Ocean City. Family and community matter most to
Shannon. She resides in southern New Jersey with her husband Michael. In her free time, she
enjoys playing with her pups, paddle-boarding, and being on the shoreline. Her favorite spot to
watch the sunset is Corson’s Inlet, in the “southend”, and North Street beach to watch the
sunrise.
Shannon’s ability to listen and disseminate clients’ needs is essential to providing superior
service for an excellent customer experience. Her real estate journey began in 2003, as a
consultant, working for a Qualified Intermediary. During her tenure there she facilitated the
exchange of “like-kind” property under §1031 of the IRC, helping real estate investors defer
capital gains tax. Thereafter, she was inspired to acquire her real estate license, and went on to
earn her Broker-salesperson license. Shannon works diligently to meet her clients needs, in
hope of exceeding their expectations, and realize their dream of life lived in Ocean City.
